I’m not sure how long I’m going to leave it like this. I haven’t had any problems but I don’t really have a good reason to leave it like this. For the record I used pwnage tool 2.02 to take care of the dirty work. I was a little uneasy at first since I’d updated to the 2.0.1 firmware. My first attempt reduced my phone to an ipod touch. The second however was a complete success. I can now run app store apps side by side with cydia/installer apps. About the only fun thing that I can find that I couldn’t do before is applying themes. The picture below is my current first screen. I am using the buuf2 theme for winterboard (a 2.0 version of summerboard) Feel free to comment with any words of wisdom or troubles you’ve encountered.
